Trump issues stark warning on Truth Social

President Donald Trump said 'missiles are locked and loaded' aimed at Iran, should Tehran try to assassinate him. '1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands of more to immediately follow,' Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. He added that the U.S. military is 'ready, willing, and able, for a one year period of time, subject to extension, to completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran.'

Intelligence assessment shows no specific plot

Israel's intelligence recently shared with the Trump administration Iranian threats to assassinate him. However, two U.S. sources familiar with the matter said recent U.S. intelligence assessments showed no indication of a new, specific Iranian plot to kill Trump, but rather a steady drumbeat of chatter about various Iranian actors wanting to do so.

Iran accuses US of violating MoU

Iran's chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said Tehran is prepared for 'all-out defense' if the United States breaks the MoU. 'We are distrustful of the Americans. During the negotiations, I made it clear to the US vice president that we have no trust in you,' Ghalibaf said. Foreign Minister Araghchi accused the U.S. of violating paragraph 9 of the agreement, which states the U.S. will not impose new sanctions or deploy additional forces in the region.
